To the question of uncritical borrowing of foreign approaches


The article notes the failure of the mechanical transfer of foreign approaches to professional development, created in other cultural and historical conditions, examines the origins of the competence approach, its limitations and opportunities. According to the author, training of competences without purposeful education of the valuesemantic sphere of children and teenagers creates new threats and hinders professional development of the person.
